The beautiful stretch of coastline between Blombos and Still Bay in the Southern Cape was home to our earliest ancestors, who made their homes in caves that are still dotted along the cliffs. Just before the country went into lockdown we were lucky enough to be part of this 4-day slack packing adventure. Starting in Blomboschfontein Nature Reserve, it includes the spectacular Geelkrans and a kayak trip down the Goukou River, ending in a visit to Kransfontein Olive Farm. If cabin fever is getting to you, make a note to book your spot on this hike when lockdown ends! Go to https://alikreukeltrail.co.za for more information
