Nardos Pizza is a cozy, family run pizzeria and take-away in the popular holiday retreat of Stilbaai in the Western Cape.
Our specialty is wood-fired pizza, with only the freshest ingredients, using traditional techniques taught by our mentor and famed Italian restaurateur Bernardo “Pappa” from Trattoria Napoli in Fishhoek, Cape Town.
The menu consists of more than 30 delicious Pizzas in the popular Classic/Meaty/Seafood/Chicken and Vegetarian pizza’s categories. We serve 2 sizes: 26cm Medium & 32cm Large. For the adventurous we have our popular Nardos Special pizza with yummy biltong and Green Fig, a Rocket & Walnut pesto pizza, a Nachos pizza with a choice of premium beef mince or chicken, just to name a few. All pizzas are thin base and baked to perfection in a original wood fire oven.
And the name Nardos Pizza, everybody keeps asking. It’s derived from our Italian foodie mentor’s name......BerNARDO.
Originally we opened our “first” Nardos Pizza in 2006 near Mossel Bay. We sold the business in 2010, which is still in operation. As “foodies” we missed our customers, and decided to open another Nardos Pizza in the beautiful coastal town Stilbaai.
